It’s that time again: new series @ The Vine = crazy weekend at the Moon house. However, something was different this time. Usually I try my hardest, but something’s just not right. Sometimes we’re in full combat spiritual warfare, sometimes we just weren’t prepared enough, and sometimes there were obstacles we failed to anticipate. However, this time the Lord hooked us up! Everything fell perfectly into place…the logo, backdrops, lighting, creative elements, decorations, motion backgrounds…it all matched and complemented the theme! Yeay! Finally 
There’s always room for improvement, but it’s the first time I’d give us a near-10. Thanks to my team for arriving at the crack of dawn to transform the black box into a place of ADVENTure.
The mosaic design is the first of 5 advent candles…our Vine-twist on ancient tradition. We’re using flame torches of various primary colors in a linear progression (instead of the traditional wreath,) and these torches will be represented on the mosaic. We had to buy the glass in sheets, and cut it into strips and then little pieces by hand, and then arrange and glue each little piece into the mosaic puzzle. Perhaps it was a little time consuming, but definitely worth my time. Show up next week to see the addition of the second candle!
