This is definitely art, and it is beautiful!! I wish I could taste it! Maybe you have a career in baking and decorating??? You could be on “Ace of Cakes” on TLC…I totally love that show! Enjoy your art!

What is the luscious looking Nick food on the top? I want to taste it, so much for carbs.

those would be big valentines reese’s hearts, chopped. i went with those b/c 1. holiday candy is fresher, 2. the big ones have more peanut butter than the little ones, and 3. reese’s pieces are incredibly terrible for you. that’s what i really wanted to use, but i can’t serve people partially hydrogenated palm oil without feeling like i’m killing them

Yikes! Reese’s Pieces were my successful potty training reward after MANY other tries. I wondered if you would be potty trained at your wedding until Reese’s pieces. In the 80’s we never heard of hydrogenated anything. I was being super Mom avoiding chocolate as a reward. Glad you turned out so wonderful and not messed up or something. We did not have organic either. I am more blessed than I ever thought since I was at the whim of whatever Gerber put in a jar. PS: You are SO right, holiday candy is much fresher.
