aaahhhhmazing. and i got 7 hours of sleep! happy day. ![]()

You see that?
Five forty two aaaammmm.
I slept ‘til 5:42 AM!!! ☺ Woohoooo!
My sweet little Tanner is perfect in every way, but…she doesn’t sleep. At all. Saturday night, she accidentally slept from 9:00pm – 7:15am, when I woke her up (because we were late for church…oops.) That was the first time she’s slept for longer than 4 hours since she was born. And I’m certainly not complaining about that, because I’m so thankful for the chance to be her mother, but I’m starting to look old…and I think it’s because of non-sleep. Sunday night…she got up at 1 & 4 as usual. But then last night, slept from 9:30-5:42! Not sure that’s blogworthy, but I sure am stoked about homegirl learning to sleep.
Tanner says, “It’s New-Series Weekend, Gangstas! What-What!”

Ha. I seriously think that’s what she was thinking. New Set, New Series, New Soldier, New Blog…I’m going to be too excited to sleep! That’s probably a good thing though, since I’ll be up-and-at-’em at 3:30 am. Cause that’s how we roll.
18 hours and counting….it’s game time.
My favorite 2-year-old fought this laptop and he won!
Good thing we have high quality tech-girls at The Vine.

And here are the tiniest tech-girls in training…. (they’re really smart!)

Tanner thought they were so pretty!

Then she wanted to taste them. Pretty girl, pretty flowers…mommy’s favorites!
1. You haven’t lived until you’ve seen Tanner and her Daddy “dance” to High School Musical. Goodness.
2. I’m 3/4 the way done with Tim’s book, and it’s GREAT! I’m so humbled and excited to be reading it…it’s seriously the coolest thing that’s happened to me since I won a year’s supply of M&M’s when I was in the 9th grade.
3. Once of my favorite discussions in Tim’s book is about using parables (stories from everyday life) out of cultural media (movies, music, TV, internet) to display biblical truths. The goal is to take cultural elements that are already popular and leverage them for Christ by giving them new meaning…spiritual meaning. To find these illustrations in culture, we need to be constantly looking for God while we do life.
Where have you seen God in culture lately?
it snowed. again. and this time it’s daylight! katelynn was so excited…
tanner was a little confused.

katelynn convinced nick to help her build a snowman.
(which she decorated with pastel m&m’s…that’s my girl!)

eventually tanner got used to it…
